Overview
Picture in Picture for TikTok, Reels & YouTube is a browser extension that opens the current supported video in the browser's native Picture-in-Picture window and provides video, feed, and sound controls. This policy explains how the extension handles information.
The extension runs locally in your browser. It does not collect, store, sell, transfer, or transmit personal data, browsing history, video content, or usage analytics to Good Choice or any third party.
Information handled locally
After you click the extension icon or use a shortcut on a supported site, the extension may temporarily access the active page's video element and basic playback state, such as duration, playback position, mute state, and Picture-in-Picture availability. This information is used only to perform the action you requested and remains on your device.
The extension does not read account credentials, messages, form fields, or unrelated page content. It does not record keystrokes, build browsing profiles, or monitor activity in the background.
Supported websites and permissions
Host access is limited to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and fb.watch. It is used only to attach the extension's controls to a video on those sites.
activeTabgives temporary access only to the tab where you invoke the extension.scriptingruns packaged extension code in that user-initiated tab to request native Picture-in-Picture and show support notices.
Data sharing, remote code, and advertising
Picture in Picture for TikTok, Reels & YouTube uses no remote executable code, analytics SDKs, advertising, affiliate injection, user accounts, cloud sync, or payment processing. All executable code is included in the extension package. The extension does not sell or transfer user data and does not use it for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to its video-control feature.
Retention and your choices
The extension does not maintain a server-side database or retain video and browsing data. You can stop access by closing the active tab, removing the extension, or revoking its permissions in your browser's extension settings.
